BOWLING GREEN POLICE ARREST TEACHER IN SEX ABUSE CASE
Bowling Green, KY - Through a joint investigation involving the Bowling Green Police Department and the Warren County Sheriff's Department, a Warren County High School Teacher is arrested and charged with three counts of Sexual Abuse 1st Degree, a class D felony. Thursday evening, January 28, 2010 Bowling Green Police charged thirty-five year old Beulah Nicole "Nikki" Sumner, a teacher at Warren East High School. The charges stem from allegations that Sumner had an ongoing sexual relationship with one of her seventeen-year old students. The relationship started several weeks ago according to the investigation. Sumner is lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail under a $10,000 cash bond.
